IVE BEEN TO AFRICA!! Omg so proud even if I did not really now Marocko was in Africa before A told me but anyways AFRICA thank you love for bring me to all cool places!! Anyways we lived in a old power ladys riad that she had filled with like thousands no joke art pieces from her dead husband and we just loves it this is our every morning breakfast view PS. The breakfast was also totally handmade and also so amazing!! DS.
If you wanted you could also eat brekkie at the rooftop basically Moroccans live their life on the rooftops all restaurant and bar was up there and I really loved that however mornings was a bit chilly so mostly we ate in the dining room but we hanged out here in the sun out the afternoons!!
Soon learned that they drink saffron or mint tea ALL THE TIME and thats its crazy sweet if you don´t say no sugar really clearly tips!!
Another tips is to write a list BEFORE you go want kind of interior you need and what you DONT need because omg there is so much pretty things and so little space in a bag!!
Marrakesh street style!!
There was so many gorgeous hidden garden and terraces this is very popular fusion restaurant Le Jardin were we had a really nice dinner with wild birds and bamboo everywhere also in love with green mosaic next time Im in charge of a kitchen it will have green tiles!!
Forget cars and modernities the streets of Marrakesh are still owned by the Donkeys!! (sound like a joke buts its true)
This city was soooooo good at dessert!! If you like my kind of dessert in other words nothing light fresh and lemony but updated banana splits chocolate fondants creme brulees milkshakes yes keyword chocolate and heavy this date cake with a saffron caramel and mint cream was heaven and I was so full I thought I would have a date cake baby!!
This town is so mad you have to fall in love with it!!
Everything is in color! and so alive!
Eat the streets please you will find the most exciting local things here!!
Aslo had dinner at the rooftop of hyped Nomad tried chicken tagine with saffron and dates and harissa cous cous with whole roasted cauliflower and almods hehe basically all restaurant serves cous cous and tagine so yes you will get a little bit tired of it after a week or so but they are really good!!
One day we visited Yves Saint Laurent Garden it was sunny and nice and I tried to be as little landscape architecty as possible so A would survive!!
YSL is like saint here and yes this is his little house home sweet home right
OK yes excited this you cant miss it the Medina all so called streets without name or location on google maps have their own thing one street is the bread street one is the vegetables street ons is the killing chickens street and one is the SMOOTHIE STREET this was the best you just walked up to the smoothie king got pushed around by the locals who will look at you as your a rare animal (that is always a good sign when your surrounded by locals that looks at you like that because there will be good food) point at the fresh fruit of your choice like avocado mango papaya date sharon mmyes then the smoothie king puts it all in a blender together with some local heavy yoghurt and out comes awesomeness with a straw for seven pix!!
