OK I have no problem with sweet brekkies so if someone think we should celebrate Christmas vacay and that Ive finished my internship with a saffron Semla for brunch I will say yes please with extra cream on top also people who makes it legal to eat my favorite thing in the world way to early by adding some natural yellow color to the bun dough that tastes expensive should be awarded with some kind of Christmas spirit price!!
The night before Christmas eve I start unwrapping all the Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree this Lobster from last year in SF gets the honor place for the night since we always eat sea food the evening before!!
A tradition of the 23th is aslo doing the last Christmas treats maybe you kids have many small bits of leftover chocolate nuts seeds dried fruits and berries from Advent Christmas candy making and baking? PERFECT!! This Birdie nam nam is what to do with it all: melt the leftover chocolate and sprinkle with the leftover fruit and nuts maybe add som sea salt rest in the fridge and then crack in to your kind of size of pieces!!
Since my and moms visit at Hantverket this is my fav snack all categories fried Hasselbacks potatos with smetana onion löjrom (Swedish expensive roe??) and dill bubbles to go with it ofc omg game over!!
Moules in cream are always a nice idea if you wanna update the ham sandwich and television night that seems to be a tradition that never reach our family!!
Also ofc more Amaryllis Christmas must have so pretty in a big vase or hanging from the window!!
CARB IS FUEL KIDS!!
Everybody should celebrate stay up night with bubbles lobster and carbs at least its the strongest tradition in our family!! As religious for something we get hehe!!
So ofc we also hang a champagne bottle in the Christmas tree to prevent it from getting thirsty thats why its loose all of its needles to ungenerous supplies of bubbles!!
We dont have any presents under the tree this year instead we have this little fellow say hello to our latest family member Leo the assistent labrador!!
The best dessert in my world is chocolate always this rocky road which is just melted milk chocolate mixed with dumle caramels jelly rasberries pistachios hazels and licorice have it all its salty sweet smooth crunchy chewy all at the same time!!
